Yuki Suetsugu

Congratulations on the decision to hold the “International Ogura Hyakunin-isshu Karuta Festival 2020”.
This is a new stage made possible from the efforts of the players who have long supported the competition and the challenges of the new competitors. We are all greatly looking forward to it. ‬
I heard that people from abroad are also participating. It is an honor if not only manga, but also anime and movies, have been able to bring competitive karuta to everyone around the world. This is a dream-like opportunity to be able to enjoy and compete in karuta on a global scale. I hope new discoveries and exchanges are born.
